Humantay Lake

Departure from the hotel is between 4:30 and 5 am.

After picking up the passengers, we will travel to Mollepata (approx 2 hours and a half), where we will have breakfast, and then continue for an hour to Soraypampa 3900 masl, there you can prepare to start the 2 hour walk (approximately 2 km). , during the walk, you will be able to appreciate the snow-capped Salkantay and the snow-capped Humantay.

If it is not possible to make the walk, you can choose to take horses for the ascent, this with a cost of 80 soles per person, the horses will leave you 10 minutes from the lagoon and it is only possible to take them for the ascent but not for the descent down the steep path.

Upon reaching the shores of the “Humantay Lagoon” 4200 masl you will have a brief explanation about the area and the lagoon by a guide. Then you will have free time to enjoy the landscape where you can take wonderful photographs.

After enjoying this wonderful natural attraction, we begin the return along the same path to Soraypampa, where we will board the transport to go to Mollepata to enjoy the buffet lunch.

Finally we return to Cusco at 17:00 p.m. Arrival in Cusco.
